My experience here has been unbelievable!. Now that I am in Maintenance of my Cardiac Rehab I continue to receive the very Best care. The Medical Staff is of the Very Best!. 10 STAR
There were no doctors at the hospital in the cardiac care unit at night. I repeat, no doctors in the hospital for the cardiac care unit at night. Family member admitted only to to be given a Tylenol with crazy chest pain and told a doctor could see her int he AM. If things got worse they could call a "rapid response team". I'm not sure why anyone would be admitted to a cardiac care unit with chest pain knowing doctors were not on premises. It's a hospital, so honestly mind boggling. Major heart history, +Chest Pain+ Ambulance doesn't warrant getting a doctor in at night to see you... unfortunately zero stars is not an option. If possible, figure out how to take a flat line to get some attention.
Thank You so much!
My mother was admitted a week ago with an infection. she is 91 years old and walking just fine when she got there. they have left her lying in bed for over a week to the point where she no longer can walk. we were told she would have physical therapy while she was there and this never happenned. they ignore her because she is old. i am in Los Angeles and can't get there to help. now they are talking about putting her in a whellchair. i am heartbroken over all of this. avoid going to this hospital especially if it involves and elderly person.

This place SUCKS! I would suggest driving a little more to get to a better, more caring hospital. They think everybody that comes here is a drug addict, trying to get. Brought a friend here, she thought she was having a heart attack, we arrived at at 701pm, having been seen by anyone but registration, so they can get there money, it's now 740pm still no Dr. PLEASE DON'T COME HERE, SO THEY WILL CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!
Caring, Compassionate, Skilled , Supportive , all of this done with HEART.
I went on the patient portal and saw my husbands blood work results and his comprehensive panel was way out of range! Him being a transplanted patient this is very important. His liver enzymes were very high besides other. With this being said, GI should have been consulted!!!! If that MA/PA knew about transplanted patients she would have consulted GI then. If she would have told me the numbers I would have known something was wrong. She only said a little elevated. So here his liver was rejecting and we are still today dealing with it! I am glad I went in the portal and then called his GI dr. He referred my husband to Largo Transplant Center. This being said I say that they should be educated in his to deal with transplanted patients!

Took my husband to the ER in August with sever pain from Vascular surgery he had done the week before. They did blood work and tests. I told the PA or MA that he is a transplant patient. You can’t give him certain antibiotics. So time went on, he was admitted. They put him in a room with another patient. I told them he is a transplant patient and needs to be in a private room. They said his blood work was all normal. I said that doesn’t matter, his immune system is compromised. They said they thought there were some open rooms. Next day I spoke to my husband he wasn’t moved. I spoke to his dr who admitted him and told him, he agreed with me. I said well they didn’t and he needs to get out.
My suggestion is to do anything possible to NOT be sent there at night.
